My love of photography has been with me for as long as I can remember. As a child I would sit and just flick through my mother’s old photos, to me it was like a window into another time. I was fascinated that a moment could be captured and if I stared at the photo for long enough I could, for a split second, feel like I was there. At age 14, my dad passed away. I then realised how precious and important my family photos were to me. Memories in the mind become hazy and distant overtime, yet a photo can reignite the feelings, smells, sounds and emotions of that moment.

A photograph takes a moment in time and freezes it forever. For a long time I was searching for meaning and direction to my life, and one day I woke up and realised that it was right there in front of me all along. Literally, there in front of me, on the wall!

That’s when I started taking my photography seriously. Life’s too short to do something in life that you don’t enjoy, for me I am now doing something that I truly love.

Photography is now a huge part of my life, it doesn't matter where I go or what I do, everything revolves around my family and friends and capturing that special moment. I not only want to do that for myself but for others as well- I truly enjoy seeing someone’s face when they see my photographs.

My aim is to create beautiful, honest and artistic images by capturing the grace, personality and beauty of the moment. I Love natural photography and now specialise in children’s portraits, weddings, newborns and more recently maternity photography.
